We loved the 6th grade Calvert Homeschool program and are very happy with the support of an advisory Teacher.(ATS)
Its very much worth the xtra money spent, to get a professional- to grade and write reviews.
The books are wonderful and the manuals are easy to follow.
Its fun for the whole family (especially if You haven't been to school for a while:)
I highly recommend Calvert!!!

I can't say enough about the support staff. When my daughter and I struggled due to pre-adolescence or a cuirriculum question they were there to guide us through with great patience and knowledge. I couldn't be more pleased.

The curriculum was challenging and appreciated!

We'll be back in seventh grade.

Calvert's 6th Grade course was challenging, interesting, and enjoyable for both of my children. I have recommended Calvert to all of my homeschooling friends that are interested in a classical education for their children. We have been with Calvert for 7 years now and my youngest will be in the Eighth Grade program this year. My oldest child was sad to leave the school upon her 8th grade graduation and hopes that Calvert will offer a High School option in the near future.

This is an excellent and demanding sixth grade course. That mathematics, science, and history are very well done. The reading texts include classics such as The Phantom Tollbooth and Anne of Green Gables that are sure to excite and interest children of this age.

We have used Calvert's program since Pre-K. I love that it comes with everything you need in a box, we live in a remote area and this makes things easeir for us. We also love the flexibility Calvert offers, and the fact that I can contact a teacher any time I need a little extra help, or a different approach.
I have another daughter who graduated from Calvert and is now doing an online high school program. We thought about moving my younger daughter to this other program, but her sister says that Calvert's program has her so far ahead of the other kids that she recommends (to her sister!) that she stay with Calvert. She feels that Calvert's writing and Math have given her an advantage over other kids in her current program.
I don't think you can get a better recommendation than that!
For me, it is the flexibililty and the resources ON TOP of their outstanding curriculum, that keeps us a Calvert family.
