Explore & More Children's Museum was opened in 1994 by a grassroots group of parents, educators and designers with one goal - creating a museum just for kids. We first opened in June 1994, with a small array of exhibits. Just two years later, the museum space was doubled with new themed exhibits and complementary programs.
