Nevada Home School Support GroupsHome school support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense on community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! Serving the Pahrump, NV area. LDS and like-minded families are welcome to share in our passion for teaching our children. This group will begin with weekly social activities, monthly mom's meetings, idea sharing, monthly field trips, etc. We will also work with other homeschool groups in Pahrump to help build a stong homeschool community here.

Serving Reno, NV and surrounding areas. We are a homeschool support group offering a computer lab with 8 PC's, speech and language pathology, Lindamood-Bell Reading program, Institute for Excellence in Writing program, academic consultation and evaluations. We also assist with curriculum selection.

Our mission is to promote a Christian worldview in the homeschool community; assist families who are new to homeschooling; provide encouragement and support for parents who are educating their teen through high school; offer guest speaker events and workshops to educate and encourage homeschool families; and provide help to the support group leader. NCHS is available to guide those interested in beginning a support group of their own. Our board and department heads have over twenty years of homeschool experience in Nevada. We are available to encourage you with your personal homeschool challenges.
