I'd heard about Calvert from several, very devoted and competant, home schooling moms, so I decided to check it our for myself and was very impressed.

I was very nervous about home schooling my two sons, 2nd and 6th, but with the daily lesson plans, materials, and educational support, I was able to properly educate them at home. Again,the user friendly daily lessons and educatinal counselors gave me a great foundation and support system to work with.

I'm using Calvert again this year.

My son and I enjoyed using Calvert these past 2 years. I especially am happy with the extra online courses that Calvert is now offering. My son loves using the computer. It helps him to understand the concepts better, and it is fun. I like how each lesson is spelled out. This way my time can be better used for other things in life.

Ida loved the freedom of learning at home and beeing able to play lots of hours and also getting some good study time in!
Calverts books just leads You from one subject to another with such ease and its wonderful to follow along these books. They are colorful and are fun to read for all.
This next year we are adding on the ATS service to have Ida feel a little more special that a teacher , besides Mamma and Big Sister, is checking on her schoolwork and to give her grades. She is actually excited about it!
My 6th grader received a wonderful diploma of completion(from the ATS) which I think is a good piece of paper to have for future!
We are all ready for a 3rd and 7th grade Calvert school year to begin and the best part, They are actually excited about it !

Every year I research other curriculums. Each year I come back to Calvert because it is the most well rounded. I have a 5th, 3rd, and 2nd grader this year and have used your courses for each since pre-school.I think you do a terrific job! But for the price I do not think you should have cut back on supplies this year or youshould have mentioned the things that are normally packed would not be.

Calvert's Second Grade Course provided a much needed sense of relief for a nervous new homeschooling mom! This course was extremely enjoyable and took the stress out of homeschooling. The lessons were very thorough and also provided many opportunities to have fun with it all. The course has changed a bit since I completed it with both of my children, but if I had another Second Grader to homeschool, I'd do it all again with Calvert! Calvert school has given my children an excellent start to their ongoing education.
