"How I'm Inspired by Calvert School"

It is no secret that Calvert families are the biggest advocates for the Calvert School program and home schooling. We owe so much to our enrolled families for sharing with other families what they love about Calvert.

Calvert has also recently launched a new website, and our goal with the new website is to provide as much information about the Calvert experience as possible. Through this new site, we can spread the word from family to family more effectively than ever before. Do you want to tell others about your Calvert experience?

If so, then you should enter our new Calvert Youtube Contest!

Directions

Create a video that shows how you and/or your family are inspired by Calvert School.

How to Enter

1. Create a video about how Calvert inspires you and/or your family
2. Create an account on Youtube.com if you do not have one already
3. Upload your video to Youtube
4. Become a fan of Calvert on the Calvert School Facebook Page (you must first have a Facebook account, which you can create for free at Facebook.com)
5. Post a link to your Youtube video on the Calvert School Facebook Page wall

Rules

Must be a current or former Calvert family. Video must be at least 1:30 (one minute and thirty seconds) long, and should be no more than 5 minutes long. By submitting your video, you acknowledge that Calvert is authorized to use your video for marketing purposes. We will give you full credit for the video.

The Calvert staff will vote on our 10 favorite videos. We will judge the videos based on creativity, content, and how the video portrays Calvert inspiring your family. The video must be directly related to Calvert School.

The deadline for submitting videos to this contest is 8/8/09!

Choice of Calvert “Discoveries” enrichment package (choose from Discoveries in: Early Reading, Reading, Music, Art, or Science), Calvert School Spirit Bundle (t-shirt, hats, other Calvert gear)

Second Place

Winners will be contacted via Facebook. The winning videos will be featured on the Calvert School website and Facebook page.
