Calvert’s Satisfaction Guarantees

We are confident that you will be thrilled with your Calvert course and comfortable with your ability to homeschool with Calvert. So confident, that we offer Money Back Guarantee Options.

▪ Calvert allows you to return an unused course for any reason within 60 days of receipt for a full tuition refund*. With this in mind, please do not write on any materials until you are certain that the materials are appropriate for your child.

▪ Try Calvert for 30 days of receipt, risk free. Begin your Calvert Kindergarten through Eighth grade course work, even submitting the first Advisory Teaching Service test. If homeschooling is just not right for you, return the course for a full tuition refund*.

▪ Need to cancel the Advisory Teaching Service after the 30 days, risk free trial? No problem, you have up to a year to cancel the service, used or not. Cancellations of enrollment in the ATS service will be refunded on a pro-rated basis, less an administrative fee of $75.

*If you return the course to us, whether unused and complete or after the 30-days risk free trial, a refund of the tuition fee, less any applicable nonrefundable fees (Enrollment/Registration Fee, Financial Aid Fee and/or Payment Plan Fee), will be issued. Refunds can take up to 45 days to process.

Note: A returned course will not automatically cancel a payment plan. Refunds will be applied to the balance due, beginning with the last scheduled payment first.

Return procedures and policies: 

• Contact a Client Service Representative, using our toll free number (888) 487-4652 or e-mailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
• Once an RMA number is obtained, you will have 30 days in which to return the course.
• Student enrollment privileges will be cancelled should you withdraw.
• Using your enclosed packing list, repackage the course carefully, adding filler to protect the books and supplies during the return shipment.
• Return shipping costs are at your expense. Given the value of the materials being returned, we highly recommend using a shipping method that can be tracked.
• Refunds can take up to 45 days to process.
• Used courses may be returned after the 30 days risk free trial, up to 60 days of receipt. A refund of the tuition fee will be issued, less applicable nonrefundable fees, used or missing items costs and a $75 restocking fee.
